Basic
- Pasta (Penne/Spaghetti/Whatever you find) - 1 cup
- Butter - 100 gm
- Milk - 1.5 cup
- Corn flour - 2 tbsp
- Pepper - 1.5 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 1 tsp
Veggies
- Onion - 1
- Tomato - 1/2
- Garlic Pods - 6
- Green Chilies - 2
Additional Fancy Add-Ons
- Cabbage - shredded a handful
- Jalapenos - 7
- Mushroom - a handful
- Fish
- Other veggies you have in hand (broccoli, capsicum .. whatever floats your boat!)
In a deep vessel add 6 cups water and a tsp of oil and salt. Once the water boils, add pasta and cook for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile chop all your veggies. Heat the kadai and add butter. Add garlic, green chilies and onion. Stir fry for 2 minutes. Add in all the other veggies and stir fry on high flame for 5-6 minutes. Add Add milk and stir continuously.
In a small bowl mix corn flour and 4 tbsp milk to make a slurry. Add the slurry to the kadai and you’ll soon realize the texture change to melted cheese like. Keep stirring all the contents and add enough milk till you attain the desired consistency. Add some butter. Now switch to low flame and add salt and pepper.
Adding salt to very hot milk could curdle it, so be sure to add salt when the flame is low
Strain
the boiled pasta and add it to the kadai. Mix well. Add jalapenos on top.
White sauce pasta is ready to devour!
